White and Black Air Jordan 6's

As you probably already know, 2010 will be a big year for the Air Jordan VI thanks to numerous colorways scheduled for release. We have already previewed some sure-fire heat like the Black/Red and White/Red OG versions (minus the Infrared), as well as some new looks like the “Pistons” version and of course, the Doernbecher edition. Back in June, Osneaker gave us a great sneak peek at this upcoming Air Jordan VI colorway, and now we get another look that lets us see some more angles and details. As you can see, this AJ VI sports a combination of White leather and Black suede on the upper, with an added stylish touch provided by some White speckles on the midsole, heel tab and lace locks, and a clear outsole as the clincher. Obviously, the OG Retro colorways will get much of the attention come next year, but this offering has a good shot to be warmly embraced thanks to the clean color scheme and the resemblance to the highly sought-after Motorsports edition of the Air Jordan VI. Lil Wayne to do 8 Month Bid ?

Lil Wayne will be forced to plead out to a jail term in New York City on Thursday, according to sources with AllHipHop.com.The rapper is expected to accept an 8-month bid in jail over his alleged involvement with a loaded .40-caliber pistol gun found on his tour bus in 2007 while in New York.The 27-year-old now faces 15 years in jail for each count of criminal weapons possession and criminal possession of a loaded weapon."Wayne is going to plead guilty," a source close to the case told AllHipHop.com, stressing that this was definitely going to happen. The rapper pleaded not guilty at press time and has yet to make any such public declaration. "The date is coming up and he's going to do it tomorrow."Wayne is rumored to be willing to accept the deal to avoid a long term in jail over the gun.

The same source said the term will begin in February of 2010 under the terms of the deal. "If he doesn't plead, he goes to jail for a long time," the source said."They told him that if he doesn't plead tomorrow, it will go to trial and then he faces a far longer jail term," the source continued.A small amount of DNA may have changed the landscape of the case, according to a report by the Associated Press. There is a "minuscule" amount of the rapper's DNA on the gun, reports say, and that has strengthened the case for the prosecution.Another hearing is set to resume tomorrow, where the rapper will reportedly announce his next move.AllHipHop.com was unable to obtain comment from representatives for Wayne at press time and the rapper didn't speak to the media at a court date earlier today.Lil' Wayneimage has another trial looming in March over felony drug and weapons charges from a January 2008 police raid.

Just when we started to wonder where the Air Force 1 went, various colorways and styles have started to surface on the web lately. Besides the “Savage Beast”, the “LeBron James” and the DJ Clark Kent-designed Air Force 1, Nike has now unleashed another premium pair that features very distinctive attributes.Although it possesses a very common color scheme (black/white-varsity red), this sneaker’s texture makeup is what sets it apart from the others.

The toe area, heel panel and midfoot section are all smothered in a rarely seen synthetic reptile-like material. To finish it off, this sneaker is complimented with a traditional gum bottom. The Game announces "R.E.D" Album

The Game will be seeing lots of red this Christmas. His new album has an official release date.The Compton MC will release his fourth LP The R.E.D. Album on December 1, Rap-Up.com has learned. A deluxe edition of the set will also be available that day. The holiday release season heats up as Game goes head-to-head with Alicia Keys’ The Element of Freedom and R. Kelly’s Untitled.

Drake talks about his album "Thank Me Later"

Drake has continued to tease fans with details about his highly-anticipated Thank Me Later debut and has now revealed the concept behind his first Young Money release.Drizzy says he wants to allow the music to connect with his fanbase."At the end of the day, one of the biggest things I've been toying with on Thank Me Later is that it's kind of hard for me to come out and be like, 'I'm still the underdog,'" Drake said in an interview. "I can't rap about the same things [as I did] on So Far Gone,so it's just really trying to tell the greatest story that's never been told, which is the story of a rapper's come-up, and tell it without being corny or over bragging or sounding like, 'Feel sorry for me.' It's going to be a very interesting record because I'm really going to have to dig deep and tell stories that people can relate to. But it's kind of hard, because my life is at a very different place now..I'm excited for next year, and I got some great records coming out with people too. I got little projects on the horizon that I'm doing just for the people, to give people the free music that I've been known to give. I'm just going to keep up with being Drake. That's it."

According to producer Omen, the album's first single "Shut It Down" will be accompanied by a Hype Williams-directed video."We're filming a video for it soon helmed by Hype Williams. The track will be serviced just a few weeks after," Omen revealed. The song came about when Omen teamed up with Drake's longtime musical collaborator, 40, and together they came up with the production. "I was working on some drum patterns and 40 had the melody going. 40 is very skilled and has a crazy ear for obscure sounds and chords," says Omen. "It took us the whole night to come up with the track, but we finished it and played it for Drake the next day, who already had the song's concept." The idea for the track, which Omen describes as a "Prince-like, powerful song," is about "empowering females. Drake said he had a song idea called 'Shut It Down' aimed at club-going females. When they go out and they get dressed up and put their makeup on and get their hair done, they have the capacity to shut the club down," Omen recalls.
