Emcee-turned-actor and film producer Will Smith has decieded to return to television. The Phili native who starred in the popular NBC program, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air between 1990 and 1996, has announced that he is producing two new series.
According to Variety, Smith, who is the head of Overbrook Films, will produce a TV adaptation of his 2005 film, Hitch, which co-starred Kevin James and Eva Mendes. Also, Smith will partner with China's Eva Jin for an action series chronicling a crime-fighting college student.
Neither show has a confirmed network at this time.
